Global Komukatama has established comprehensive, high quality
support services to meet the demands of our customers and
partners. Our technical support center is staffed with
industry experts, each committed to optimizing support
Komukatama Service Offerings:
Provided by Data Global Komukatama Technical
Coverage effective 12 months from date of purchase.
Hardware - Data Global Komukatama hardware units are
covered by a one-year warranty. The warranty period is 12
months from date of shipment to end user or 15 months from
date of shipment from Data Global Komukatama to partner, with
the end date being whichever date comes first.
Software - Software is supported by Data Global
Komukatama's Technical Support for upgrades during the
warranty period are for patches in the same release only.
E-mail and fax support is also available during the warranty
period on a best-effort basis.
Out of Contract Service
These options are available for those devices that
are not covered by a service contract:
Repair Service - Repair services or software updates are
performed on a return-to-factory basis. The customer is
responsible for shipping costs to and from Data Global
Komukatama. Material and labor costs are billed directly to
the customer. This option does not include technical support
Technical Support - For devices not covered under a service
contract, phone support is available by Data Global
Komukatama Technical Support Center. Phone support charges
are based on a per incident basis. A credit card or purchase
order number must be supplied at the time the call is
placed. This service does not include hardware repairs.
On-site Installation, Configuration and
This option is available for customers who require
Data Global Komukatama to install configure or troubleshoot
technical issues on site. This service is available on a
pre-scheduled and best effort basis.
